Domain Project with Karel Martens
Flip Animation
Based on a project around the context of a ‘Domain’. I used the idea of a domain as a contextual space in time. To which it's meaning is constantly being redefined and changed. Using a visual example of this historical context, I used Penn station transitioning into Madison Square Garden.
I created a two-way flip book to elicit the contextual visuals of this change. The book flips in one direction from Penn Station to Madison Square Garden, then flips back with the typographic exemplification of emotion in this change, back from hate to love. Returning to it's beginning, the revered Penn Station.
